Brett + Sarah
We had the pleasure of working with Brett and Sarah to bring their wedding vision to life.
With a brief of 'whimsical natives' what wasn't there to love?!
Their woodland style ceremony held in the forest next door to their reception venue, the Yarralumla Woolshed, was the ideal setting. We styled this space using our rustic timber fold out chairs, which complimented the arbour (made by the groom himself), we styled the arbour with natives to tie in the overall theme. The space was finished off with a tub of confetti filled cones and our handmade welcome sign, a simple but effective entrance to the perfect ceremony space.
The reception look was created using hundreds of meters of fairy lights to create a more intimate feel in such a large space. The tables incorporated the 'whimsical native' theme through the use of banksias, gum leaves, wattle, billy buttons and leucadendrons all sourced through local florist Poetry in Flowers. Adding in pops of gold with the use of the tins not only ensured the flower arrangements were raised off the table, they also added a whole other element to the table styling which really lifted the overall look.
The napkins each had a sprig of gum paired with a thank you tag organised by the bride.
We loved every minute of pulling this wedding together with Brett and Sarah, we thank them so much for trusting us with their wedding and wish them a lifetime of love and happiness.
